From Farmington Avenue, West Hartford: Follow Farmington Avenue (CT Route 4) into Farmington past The Exchange and the University of Connecticut Health Center. At the second set of lights after the Health Center, turn left onto South Street. At the first light on South Street (only a few hundred feet down) turn right onto Birdseye Road. Follow Birdseye Road, to the first light, which is US Route 6. Turn right onto Route 6.
