Matthew N. Perlstein
Matt is a graduate
of Bard College (A.B.
1968) and the Boston University School of Law (J.D. 1973). For the past
15 years he has concentrated his practice on condominium and community
association law. Since 1991, he has focused on representing
condominium, community and homeowner associations.
Matt is a member of
the Community Association Institute's College of Community
Association Lawyers. He has served as
chair of the Institute's National Lawyer's Committee, and as a board
member and president of the Institute's Connecticut Chapter. He is also
a member of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the
Connecticut Bar Association. Since 1983, he has written and lectured on
issues of condominium law for the Community Associations Institute, the
Connecticut Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Scott J. Sandler
Scott is a graduate
of the State University of New York at Albany (B.A., Economics, 1997) and
Quinnipiac College School of Law (J.D., 2000). Scott was an Associate
Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review. Since December of 2001, his focus
has been representing condominium, community and homeowners
associations.
Scott is President
of the Connecticut Chapter of the Community Associations Institute.
Scott previously has served as Chairman of the Chapter's Bylaw Revision
Committee, Co-chairman of the Chapter's Hartford Area Trade Show
Committee, and a member of the Chapter's Stamford Area Trade show
committee.
He is also a member
of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association and the
Hartford County Bar Association.

Gregory W. McCracken
Greg is a graduate
of the University of California at Davis
(B.A., Linguistics, 1985), the University of the Pacific, McGeorge
School of Law (J.D., with distinction, 1993), and the University of Illinois
(M.U.P. 2000). He obtained membership in Phi Beta Kappa, Phi
Kappa Phi, the Order of the Coif, and the Traynor
Honor Society, and he received a Citation for Outstanding Performance
in Linguistics, the American Institute of Certified Planners
Outstanding Student Award, the Outstanding Masters Thesis Award, and
the Elliff Planning Law Prize. He served on the board of editors of a
journal of international law and on his law school’s international
moot court competition team.
Greg’s practice
emphasizes common interest community law and land use, planning and
zoning law. He represents developers, property owners, and community
associations. Before he joined Perlstein, Sandler & McCracken, he
was an attorney at Robinson & Cole for six years. Greg litigated cases involving
professional liability, fair housing, endangered species, inverse
condemnation, natural resources, public lands, environmental law, and
real estate in California before he
moved to Connecticut
in 2000. He was a Fellow of the College of Public
Interest Law at the Pacific Legal
Foundation from 1994-95.
Greg’s bar
admissions include Connecticut, California (inactive), Illinois (inactive), the U.S.
Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals. He
is a member of the Community Associations Institute, the Developers
Council of the Connecticut Home Builders Association, the Executive
Committee of the Real Property Section of the Connecticut Bar
Association, the Planning and Zoning Section of the Connecticut Bar
Association, and the Hartford County Bar Association. He is the
reporter of the forthcoming second edition of the Common Interest Ownership Manual, which the Connecticut Bar
Association will publish.

Lawrence C. Malick
Larry is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Colorado (B.A., Political
Science, 1962) and the University of California School of Law at
Berkeley (J.D., 1973). He also holds a master's degree in public
affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International
Affairs at Princeton
University. Larry
served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps during the
Vietnam war era.
Larry is a member
of the Connecticut Chapter of the Community Associations Institute. He
serves on the Chapter's Publication Committee, which oversees
preparation of the Chapter's magazine, Common Interest.
Larry is also a
member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the American Bar
Association.
