Matthew N. Perlstein


Matt PerlsteinMatt is a graduate of Bard College (A.B. 1968) and the Boston University School of Law (J.D. 1973). For the past 30 years he has concentrated his practice on condominium and community association law. Since 1991, he has focused on representing condominium, community and homeowner associations.

Matt is a charter member of the Community Association Institute’s College of Community Association Lawyers. He has served as chair of the Institute’s National Lawyer’s Committee, and as a board member and president of the Institute’s Connecticut Chapter. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. Since 1983, he has written and lectured on issues of condominium law for the Community Associations Institute, the Connecticut Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is a principal author of the second edition of the Common Interest Ownership Manual, published by the Connecticut Bar Association.
