Jonathan received his undergraduate degree from Quinnipiac University (B.S., Physical Therapy, 1999), and graduated from the Quinnipiac University School of Law, magna cum laude (2005). While attending law school, he worked full-time, including as a law clerk for a well-known litigation firm in Hartford. Prior to his arrival at Perlstein & McCracken, his practice areas have included litigation in several substantive areas of law, and he has devoted a significant portion of his time to the practice of municipal law, including drafting of legal opinions, contract negotiation and review, land use, ordinance drafting, tax collection, and enforcement proceedings. Jonathan was named to the Connecticut Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of civil litigation (2015).
Jonathan resides in Wallingford with his wife, daughter, and twin boys. He is an active volunteer board member and the current president of the local chapter of JDRF (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). He frequently presents on the applicability of anti-discrimination laws to students with type one diabetes in school. Jonathan also volunteers as a member of the town of Wallingford Charter Revision Commission, and for the Wallingford Public Schools as the vice chair of System-Wide Parent Teacher Advisory Council.
